In-app campaigns lets you stay connected with existing customers. With In-app campaigns, you can engage with a targeted group of users and make announcements to specific groups. You can onboard new users with tutorials, receive feedback from current users, drive feature adoption with announcements, and re-engage and retain lapsing users with customer success stories.
You can create and send In-app campaigns to specific user segments.
Creating In-App Campaigns
To create In-App Campaigns
Go to Campaigns.
Click Create a new campaign. A pop-up window appears.
Select In-app campaigns. You will be redirected to Create an In-App Campaign page.
Give a name to the In-app campaign in the text box. This is optional and is only for your reference.
Select the user segment to which you want the campaign message to be sent. You can Choose a Pre-Existing Segment or Create a new Segment of users.
Pre-existing segment are users populated based on properties obtained from your website or application. You can also create custom segments of users based on your requirements.
In the Filters area, you can add conditions for the campaign. You can also add nested conditions using AND or OR combination.
Click Next. You will be redirected to Compose Your Message page.
Enter the message in the Message text box. You can preview the message on the right side.
Select a message channel for the message delivery to the visitor.
Select a team member from whom you want the message to be sent.
Inbox is listed as the default message channel unless you had created any custom message channels prior to creating In-app campaigns.
You can choose to send the campaign immediately by selecting Send Now or schedule it for a later time by selecting Send Later.
Your campaign is now ready to be launched. Click Launch.
In-app campaigns are one-time messages sent to the selected segment of users. So you cannot edit, delete or disable In-app campaigns once launched.
