All contacts in your People tab are different from one another, which makes it important to segment them to send the right message to the right person. Contacts are people (website visitors or signed up users who have interacted with you via chat). A user or visitor segmentation is creating segment or cohorts of your contacts based on some characteristics. With the help of segmentation you can group your users and visitors and make personalized conversations with them.

To create new user segment,

  1. Click New Segment. The Add Segment pop-up box appears.

  1. Add Filter conditions based on your requirements. You can also add nested conditions using AND or OR combination.

  2. Select Save Segment checkbox.

  3. Enter segment name.

  4. Click Save

  5. Click Apply to filter users.
