Languages supported for Team Member Interface and Messenger UI
The following 20 languages are supported for the Team Member Interface and Messenger UI.
How to setup preferred language for team member interface
In Profile Settings, you can choose the Preferred Language of your choice and the Freshchat User Interface (UI) will be displayed to you in that language. And, all the customer conversations will be auto-translated in the chosen language.
For example, if you choose French as the preferred language, your web.freshchat.com interface will be displayed in French, to you. Similarly, your other team members can set their Preferred Language in their Profile Settings and their Freshchat UI will be auto-translated based on their selection.
To do this,
- Go to Settings > Profile Settings.
- Select the language from the Preferred Language drop-down.
In the above example, Sarah chooses her preferred language as French. So her Freshchat UI language is now French (refer the image below).
How to customize the Messenger UI language
You can also customize the Freshchat Messenger UI to one of the 20 languages listed in the table above, based on the user's browser language (locale) settings.
